Unlock iPhone 3G released

Finally, the Dev-Team has just rolled out its offical iPhone 3G unlock known as “yellowsn0w“. It isn’t exactly a polished product yet though, but there are already reports of successful unlocks appearing all over the Internet. For you running the iPhone’s latest v2.2 firmware, fret not — it works with that version as well. There will be even more unlocked iPhone 3G in the market of 2009.

Fujitsu offers free exchange of laptop for Life!

Economy is gloomy and most of us are holding back purchases, especially getting a new laptop right? Fujitsu Siemens (they have merged) now offers a laptop that will last your entire life.

More precisely, you can exchange for a new laptop (LifeBook only) every three years! Simply return your old laptop by mail and they will send you a new laptop. Sounds good huh. The warranty cost about $60. To qualify for the deal, customers must register their LifeBooks within 21 days of purchase, with a deadline of March 2009.

Rumor: Nintendo DSi To Be Released In 2009

According to various websites, Nintendo’s DSi handheld will be released in the US during the summer of 2009. What is DSi? It’s baiscally DS with improved existing features and new cameras. The DSi equipped with two 0.3 megapixels VGA cameras (a camera on the internal hinge pointed towards the user and a camera on the outside of the shell)

Improved Features

Thinner: The new handheld will be 12% tinner than the NDS Lite
Larger: The DSi will have a larger screen (3.25 inches as opposed to the previous 3 inches)
Better Sound: Improved speakers

A new SDHC card slot will be utilized for external storage of pictures and downloaded software and to play audio. It can be used as a MP3 player without the need of R4 or other related accessories.

  • Linux preloaded (Windows XP compatible)

  • 1.3-megapixel CMOS web camera
  • SD/MMC card slot, 3 USB 2.0 ports, audio jack, VGA
  • 4-hour battery cell

No idea on how much this costs though. Will update the price when available.

  • WiFi and RJ45 jack
  • Three USB 2.0 ports

This laptop comes with Windows XP instead of Linux, that’s why the price is going to be higher. However, the official price is unknown.
