Economy is gloomy and most of us are holding back purchases, especially getting a new laptop right? Fujitsu Siemens (they have merged) now offers a laptop that will last your entire life.
More precisely, you can exchange for a new laptop (LifeBook only) every three years! Simply return your old laptop by mail and they will send you a new laptop. Sounds good huh. The warranty cost about $60. To qualify for the deal, customers must register their LifeBooks within 21 days of purchase, with a deadline of March 2009.

When we talk about Wind Powered, huge tall “turbines” comes to my mind. Now we will show you a mini wind powered device that recharge your battery one at a time! (called Febot) It is pretty easy to install, just insert the battery and stick in on a glass where there is wind flowing. I wonder how long it takes to charge this little guy. Toshiba has joined the tiny laptop market by releasing its latest 8.9 inch UMPC - the Satellite NB105. The specs:
- 8.9″ LCD display at 1,024 x 600 resolution
- Intel Atom 1.6GHz processor
- 1GB Memory (RAM)
- 120GB hard drive
- WiFi and RJ45 jack
- Three USB 2.0 ports
- SD memory card slot
This laptop comes with Windows XP instead of Linux, that’s why the price is going to be higher. However, the official price is unknown.
