Asus Eee Product: 42 inch Linux-based Eee TVAsus unveils the upcoming Eee Family of Products including E-DT (desktop PC), E-TV and E-Monitor. Their first launched product is the 42 inch Linux Eee TV, soon to be augmented with a small form-factor desktop machine, an all-in-one system and a TV.

The E-TV as its name suggests, it’s merged with the technology of TV and Computer at a low-cost. This LCD TV will have computer technology on board running Linux to allow users to surf the Internet and read email. LG.Philips showoff their multiple-touch LCD TV

Background about LG.Philips: LG.Philips was formed as a joint venture by the Korean electronics company LG Electronics and the Dutch company Koninklijke Philips Electronics in 1999 to manufacture LCD. Coming next week at CES 2008, LG Phillips will be presenting world’s largest displays with multi-touch capability. Few days ago we mentioned the 150 inch TV. This 52 inch multi-touch LCD is 5 inches larger than last model shown in IMID 2007.
