This is my 1st Report to reveal my blog’s stats. I would give myself a B-. My readers are increasing gradually from month to month which is a good sign. As you can see from the screenshot, the peak was 2227 page hits on January 1, 2008 that turned my Adsense earnings to be $25 on that single day. In fact, the counter exceeds 2000 views/day for 5 consecutive days from 90% to 100% of the meter!

My January income have a grand total of $203.57, mainly from Google Adsense. Hence, I have more budget to work with for my Gizmo-meter Prize in February! Maybe you have suggestion of the next prize? (Be reasonable!) I’m eager to find out who will win the $20 Giveaway.

I’m still exploring different techniques to increase my viewers, especially my RSS Readers / email subscribers. (Only have 22 Email Subscribers) Total of 160 posts excluding this post, which calculates on an average of 2 posts per day. Digg, StumbleUpon and SEO tatics are major sources to attract visitors. If you have ideas/comments, I would be pleased to hear them.

As of now, 99 people have expressed themselves by leaving a comment to this blog. This number is good but I want to encourage more visitors to leave a comment because of 3 reasons.

Wikigiz have created its own twitter feed! It parses our feed automatically via twitterfeed. It’s actually easier to make twitter updates your blog than you think. Mine set to update on every 12 hours. Post up to 5 updates each time. Here’s how:

1. You need a twitter account. Click here to get one.
2. Login to twitterfeed using OpenID. If you’re using AOL, WordPress, Technorati, … you already have your own OpenID. Or you always can get one.
3. Create an account there and put your rss feed.

Being a Canadian, I should report the one and only one Canada event in CES 2008 - Canada Night. Believe it or not, it was crowded with people in the Caesar’s Palace ballroom and outer hall area. One of my friends attended the Canada Night at CES - the gathering of the Canada industry members. It was a success!

I have yet another prize to giveaway. I got a few Best Buy Gift Cards from Christmas and I’m going to give them away to our readers. The cards were purchased in Canada, so I am not sure if they are valid in other country. No worries. I will give you options! I can give you $20CDN via Paypal instead.
