Nintendo announces 30% increase in Wii production
written by: Peter Bigg | category: Games | posted: 04/27/08Newsflash – The US is currently experiencing a shortage of Nintendo Wii consoles. Okay, so that’s really nothing new, and neither is the fact that Nintendo is still sincerely upset about that fact.

Currently Nintendo is producing around 1.8 million units per month, of which I believe the US hulks more than 40%. In order to compensate for the continuous high demand, they are planning on increasing that number to 2.4 million. Let see how much longer will the Wii consoles stay on the shelves - may be extra 30 minutes?
