I adore products that improves our Life Style especially land is scarce in big city. The Bloomframe is a window frame that extends out into a small balcony area. It appears kind of small, maybe fit for just one person, but when you had nothing before how can you complain?

What a great, efficient way to add some living space to a small condo or apartment!

One of the things I would want to consider, if I were considering adding something like this to my abode, is how energy efficient it is. As a window, is it double-pane? Can it open JUST as a window or does it have to open as a full balcony? How well does it seal when it is closed?

I think it’s really great… does anybody know the answer to the above questions for anyone else reading about it and/or considering having one installed?

Hi Namaste,

I believe it only swing open in full as a balcony but I do know it’s rain and snow resistant according to the manufacturer. What an innovative product!

Somehow I wouldn’t feel safe sitting on something like that.
