How to Score a Wii This Christmas
written by: Patrick Wong | category: Gadgets, Games | posted: 12/21/07Everyone wants Wii to be their Christmas present but the supply just can’t fulfill the demand in 2007. Want to make one of those your own? Here’s our shopping advice.

Sunday: You Get Up Early
The best time for Wii hunting is early Sunday mornings, because that’s when retailers like Best Buy and Wal-Mart release their weekly advertisements. And if they advertise Wii in the flyer, they’ll hold some systems for the day the ad hits. The trick is to get your hands on the ads before Sunday morning, so you know where to line up. Abrams says users of his site post ads in the forums, so that might be an excellent place to start.
Go Crawling to eBay or Craigslis, may cost more though
There’s one place where you can buy a Wii any time, day or night, and have it guaranteed to be under the Christmas tree. Unfortunately for your wallet, that place is eBay. But currently well over 13,000 auctions post Wii consoles at the online auction house. Winners generally shell out about $400 each.

I finally got a wii after searching the stores in my city for three months. I stood in lines for hours and made many phone calls to most of the stores without any luck. I decided to continue my wii search on line and ended up on a wii tracker web site. Their it was, the flashing in stock sign that stated amazon had the wii in stock for its retail price of $250.00.I highly recommend these wii tracker sites if you are trying to find a wii.
